Flash: Kirby Slide
In this animation I learned how to create special effects in Flash. I first used a classic tween to make the Kirby move across the screen, but tilted it to look as if in a slide. Then I tilted it the other way in another tween to give the effect of an immediate halt. I copied the image and then added it in staggered layers to give it the motion blur. To make it look fast, I made the background layer move across the screen by creating a classic tween in inside the layer. Another effect I made was the dust cloud. By creating a classic tween and lowering the alpha, I was able to create a disappearing dust cloud. It was really fun to make this animation, especially when I could make it look like a legit movie clip.
